On Wednesday, 18 December 2013 at 20:00, Some Like It Hot film screening is organized in the main living space of Villa Tugendhat.
The famous combination of musical comedy, a gangster movie parody and a crazy comedy is set in 1929 and its heroes are Joe and Jerry, two musicians who are on the run from a bunch of gangsters, disguised as women and “hiding” in a Sweet Sues’ girl band, departing for a tour of Florida. Billy Wilder’s comedy from 1959 has long and rightly been included in the golden collection of film classics. Besides the irresistible performances of the main stars, Jack Lemmon, Tony Curtis and Marilyn Monroe you will also enjoy the jazz music by Matty Malneck.
Some Like It Hot is screened in only one reprise, in original version with subtitles.
