It was our great pleasure to have the opportunity to welcome the world-renowned researcher and professor Michelangelo Sabatino to Villa Tugendhat on 2-3 February. Villa Tugendhat and Brno represented the tenth stop on a European tour that the professor dedicated to the presentation of his new publication, “The Edith Farnsworth House”, which was published in the USA at the end of last year. Previous stops included other important Mies buildings such as the German Pavilion in Barcelona and the Neue Nationalgalerie in Berlin.
During his visit, the professor visited Villa Tugendhat and the Brno Exhibition Centre. He presented the publication to the Czech public In the main living room of Villa Tugendhat with a short lecture – here’s a short photo report.
