On Thursday, 1 October 2015, an official UNESCO delegation headed by the Moroccan Minister of Urban Planning Driss Merroun visited the Villa Tugendhat. Fifteen members of the group, consisting of experts from France, Italy, Israel, Turkey, Mexico and the United States, evaluated very positively the historical restoration of the villa and identified it as one of the most successful projects worldwide. Their visit continued by an official reception by the Mayor of Brno Petr Vokřál.
The visit of this special delegation took place as part of the official programme of the Architecture Week Prague 2015, which also includes a large exhibition on the Tugendhat Villa in the Convent of St. George at Prague Castle. You can visit the exhibition until 18 October 2015.
