“Bohuslav Fuchs – ORBIS PICTUS” is the title of a book which will be presented at the Brno House of Arts on Monday, 26 November 2012 at 6 pm. It is intended for the general public and is primarily dedicated not to the works of the famous architect, but to his “life in pictures”. Through before unpublished photographs from family archives and samples of texts and drawings from the guest book of Fuchs’ cottage, readers can have a peek into the “other world” of this personality of Czechoslovak and also European architecture of the 20th century.
The book with texts in Czech, German, French and English is published the Brno City Museum and Brno City Archive. Jindřich Chatrný, Dagmar Černoušková and Pavla Seitlová are its editors.
