The International Fair of Regional Tourism REGIONTOUR 2016 which was held on 14 to 17 January 2016 at the Brno Exhibition Centre offered visitors the opportunity to visit the stand of the City of Brno, which included the presentation of the Villa Tugendhat, Villa Löw-Beer, Villa Stiassni and Jurkovič Villa as its central point together with the Brno Architectural Manual.
This participation is a continuation of the cooperation of the four most famous Brno villas and illustrates the fact that the city of Brno has this unique set of residential buildings from the first half of the 20th century, which were recently restored and are open to the public.
The grouping of these houses called ‘The Brno Villa Quartet’ created a publication that has been launched on Thursday 14 January by Iveta Černá, director of the Villa Tugendhat, at the City of Brno opening press conference. The booklet focuses on the four famous family villas that one can visit in Brno, further texts outline the development of urban districts, where the villas have been built, and highlight a number of architectural sights in their surroundings.
